It is where a large number of Sri Lankan goods are sold. You can walk through this busy market and purchase various goods. Head to the Fort to view the ruins of colonialism. This fort was initially made by the Portuguese and Dutch and was later seized by the British. It served as the British Governor’s Home before being abandoned later. The parliament of Sri Lanka was once held at the Old Parliament Building. This colonial-style building resides near the coast of Sri Lanka, now only an attraction and reminder of the past. It is a solemn location to visit and take pictures of. Finally, head to the Galle Face Green Promenade where locals gather to experience the nightlife. Kids will run around flying kites, and locals will use this location to jog as well as to enjoy the sunset.
